If you’ve made the decision to learn the clarinet, then your first clarinet lessons will be an exciting time for you! Here at HCMS we strive to make every lesson fun, informative, and engaging.
​The clarinet is a single reed instrument. It offers the largest pitch range of the woodwind family. The most common clarinet is the B-flat clarinet. The clarinet is a relatively new instrument, with the modern version stemming from the 18th century. It is popular in many settings, including wind bands, orchestras, klezmer groups, and jazz.
