Anna Vasilyeva, an award-winning pianist, and her husband, David Schagun, co-founded Hudson Classical Music Studios in 2019. Mrs. Vasilyeva has received praise internationally for her piano performances, specifically for her "mastery of technique and beautiful sound". She has been teaching piano for over 15 years. In addition to teaching piano at Hudson Classical Music Studios, Ms. Vasilyeva is on staff at Rutgers University. She has also previously held faculty positions at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and Cleveland Institute of Music. |

Mrs. Vasilyeva has appeared worldwide in venues ranging from New York’s Lincoln Center to Rimsky-Korsakov’s Grand Concert Hall in her native Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She has also worked with renowned musicians, including Monique Duphil, Joseph Kalichstein, Warren Jones, Michel Debost, Alex Klein, Sharon Robinson, and others. Throughout her career as a professional pianist, Anna Vasilyeva has worked with numerous vocalists, instrumentalists and chamber ensembles in Russia, Estonia, Finland, Italy, Greece, and in the United States.
