Hailing from a small town in Southern Illinois, Angela Dinkelman is an up and coming talent in the New York City area. She most recently sang her debut performance of the title role in The Ballad of Baby Doe with Utopia Opera where her “shimmering soprano” was noted by such publications as Opera News. |

Angela has performed with several of New York's finest opera companies such as Bronx Opera,
where she covered Alexandra in Marc Blitzstein's Regina, and the young, but noteworthy Utopia
Opera as La Fee in Cendrillon, Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos and The Second Woman in Dido
and Aeneas.
Along with her great love of opera, Angela also enjoys programing and performing recitals that
speak to audiences of all levels of Classical music knowledge. She most notably performed at
NYC's Cafe Vivaldi, retelling the story of Breakfast at Tiffany's using only Schubert Lieder.
Angela has also had the great pleasure of singing her Carnegie Hall Debut as both 2nd Spirit and
2nd Lady in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte as well as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro with Manhattan
Opera Studio. She performed Pamina in Die Zauberflöte with dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, and
Madame Silberklang in Der Schauspiel Direktor with New York Lyric Opera and has premiered
several roles and works including the Voodoo Queen in A Night of Pity by Robert Cuckson and
Insomnia by Tom Cipullo at SongFest. She was a finalist in the Fritz and Lavinia Jensen
foundation and a recipient of SongFest's Stern's Fellowship.
