Saki Uetsuhara

Saki Uetsuhara is a violinist, violist, and music educator originally from Japan and now based in New York City. She graduated from the Tokyo College of Music, where she studied violin with Masayuki Kino, Yoshio Unno, and Toshiro Yokoyama, and viola with Yuki Hyakutake. She later continued her studies in New York with Daniel Phillips at Queens College. |
As a performer, Saki has appeared with the New Jersey Symphony, Greenwich Symphony, and in numerous musical theatre productions on and off Broadway. Her performance highlights include Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, international tours, and recording work for films in both Japan and the United States.
As a teacher, Saki is known for her patient, supportive, and detail-oriented approach. She helps students build strong fundamentals, healthy technique, beautiful tone, and confidence, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals.
